Mission Statement
The mission of the Glencliff Elementary Library is to create a student-centered learning environment in which students are supported in seeking information for both academic and recreational needs. The Library program guides students to appreciate a broad scope of literature and informational text in promotion of lifelong learning and endless curiosity.
In addition, the Glencliff Library program seeks to help students acquire foundational 21st-century information literacy and technology skills that may be built upon throughout their academic careers. As an essential curricular partner, the goal of the Glencliff Library Program is to collaborate with faculty on lessons that enrich and expand the classroom curriculum and integrate aspects of information literacy. Beyond instruction, the Glencliff Library is also a source for professional development, technology training, and resource compilation.
